Dr. Warren Branch
Dr. Branch was born in Montreal, Canada to American expatriates, Dr. & Mrs. Charles L. Branch. He arrived in San Antonio in 1968 along with his parents and four siblings when his father came to shore up the brand new Department of Neurosurgery at UT Health. His interest in dentistry was sparked at an early age when family friends and local dentists showed him how he could maintain a healthy balance of treating patients while enjoying his lifelong love of golf.
Dr. Branch graduated in three years from Oklahoma Christian University with degrees in Biology and Physics. He was then accepted into the newly opened Dental School at UT Health here in San Antonio, graduating in 1981. Upon graduation, Dr. Branch opened up his solo practice and taught part-time at the Dental School. The part-time teaching job continued for nine years and is still considered to be one of his favorite career highlights.
Dr. Branch has been active in the Christian Medical Dental Association (CMDA) and has gone on many mission trips both locally and to Mexico with this organization as well as joining international medical mission trips with his father and brother to Nigeria and Haiti.
He has held leadership positions within his profession as a past President of the San Antonio District Dental Society, Chairman of DenPac, and serving with both the Texas Dental Association and American Dental Association - always advocating for dentistry and the protection of patient care.
Dr. Branch is highly respected by his peers having been named Texas Dentist of the Year in 2011 by the Texas Academy of General Dentists.
He currently serves on board of the San Antonio Medical Foundation.
He is married to Melissa and the two of them are never far from their two black Labradoodles, Jack and Indie.
